Loved the new Mulaney special. Can’t stop thinking about Mr. Music and the existence of night flowers.

I think the only contrarian pop culture take of Jack’s I agree with is that Avatar is much more significant than anyone gives it credit for and the sequels have pretty huge potential

Totally. I go to a lot of cons, so many Na’vi cosplayers out there. Me and my coworker quote the movie on a regular basis.

To echo some of the stuff said before, the legion of skanks are awful. Their brand of comedy is just not good and is backed by some awful people. Big Jay seems reasonable and less horrible. Luis was on an episode of Kill Tony where he just said the n word over and over for a minute. COOL MAN. I used to think Ari was so cool and edgy as a kid, but that ain't it fam.

I dig on Big Jay because he actually has punchlines in his material, as risqué as it is. Ari and Luis are lame attempts at edgy for the sake of edgy which is just the blandest (and easiest) type of comic.

Anyone who still relies on the word retard to get laughs in 2020 should just hang it up. I feel like that is Luis and Ari's bread and butter.

Apparently Never Not Funny isn't part of Earwolf anymore? I was wondering why the new episode still hasn't shown up on my Stitcher feed, but Colin Anderson confirmed they've gone independent and isn't sure what's going to happen to the NNF archive on Stitcher.

So if you have Stitcher premium and still haven't listened to the pre-earwolf stuff (which I think is like...12 seasons?) I would download those now while they're still available. They're fantastic

That's pretty weird given their relationship with Scott

i was wondering why i didnt get NNF on Thursday as well. assumed it was either because it was a Player's Club filler they forgot to push or cause i use unofficial RSS.

dont think it has anything to do with Scott though, i think he's entirely detached from the business end of Earwolf/Stitcher outside of some EP creds on some of the cornerstone legacy shows. if i had to guess, Stitcher probably pays like shit to content producers. almost no one pays more than 20 dollars for a year of it and they've made a big move to giving spotlight to new pods with bigger names.

i just cant bring myself to pay the asking price for Player's Club knowing id never use the video episode component. especially not in the Patreon age. give me a $5-10 a month rolling sub that i can drop in and out of and you'll prob get 20-30 dollars out of me a year that way.

They did put out eight days of content for players club members so hopefully they just forgot. Rob Huebel should be the last free feed ep

edit: nevermind just read something from Colin at Earwolf about it, good to hear everything is on good terms
