Jack and Che are back at it, it’s a Christmas miracle

 

I truly can not imagine being a very popular, successful comedian on a nationwide stage giving the slightest shit about what a miserable bastard who's entire existence at this point is to antagonize people on an awful website says.

Jack's consistency and pace is truly astonishing.

Mulaney’s Sack Lunch Bunch was so good and fun. i feel like my faith in humanity got restored some

mild spoilers
cameo at the end is hilarious and totally caught me off guard

 

cannot wait to watch this tonight. on Conan's pod he said it's the most proud he's been of anything he has done and that's a big statement

 

listened to that too before watching. i can’t compare it to his standup but yeah this is definitely an accomplishment, relatable to both kids and adults

a part of me wishes they make more of this, but there’s something here that i’m not sure they can capture again

 

Sack Lunch Bunch was incredible - funny sad creative and poignant loved the Byrne song too

 

The Christmas Hollywood handbook gave me a straight shot of Christmas cheer right to the dome

 

This ep of HH is right up there with Masked Engineer for me

 

I think I liked it more than Masked Engineer, its so pure and loaded with jokes.

Golden Globes still my favorite Diston ep, its amazing that he's in 3 absolute classics.

 

Sack Lunch Bunch was incredible. The Googy bit was my favorite part. I don’t understand how Mulaney’s sitcom turned out so bad when everything else he does is so great.

 

Really hope that he does future installments of “Sack Lunch Bunch.” That was fantastic.

 

Apparently his initial pitch for the sitcom was more a satirical send up of the format with a high level of absurdity, which would be pretty in-line with the rest of his career. But it got watered down at NBC to the point that it was just a very bad unwatchable sitcom with absolutely nothing to set it apart.

 

Yup, just watched Sack Lunch Bunch too and I loved pretty much every second of it except for the noodle song falling flat for me. Genuinely really catchy and charming songs, some really great jokes/bits, the kids do great, and Jake Gyllenhaal's performance is possibly a career highlight

 

It aired on FOX though?
