Just don't listen? It's not like there's a limit of podcasts allowed on earth. They might attract people who don't listen to podcasts and you can say "hey if you like that, try (previously established podcast)."

If it's not a great show it won't last. If it is, tight. Always down for more good shows.

I think I've caught the bug in terms of my interest in comedy. I've been listening to Rogan's podcast episodes where he brings in comedians and it's super fascinating to hear them talk about technique and stuff. I've always wanted to do an open mic just for fun just to say I did.

I always recommend Paul Provenza’s Green Room which aired on showtime years ago for just banter about comedy by comedians. Lots of little nuggets about doing comedy which also fascinated me.

I can’t remember his screen name but there’s a dude who did a comedy cooking show or something.

What would you like to know? I've been performing sketch/improv/musical comedy for about 5 years now

  13. I did a good amount of stand-up in college, and it's something I miss for sure. Still get random bit ideas that I never remember to jot down

I started because of good ol' suburban boredom haha. I started watching SNL in 2010 and that made me want to write and perform.

I'm not sure where you live, but most cities have a comedy theater or two, so I'd suggest taking an improv class and seeing if you like that at all. Most theaters also offer sketch classes if that's more your bag! I'm not really a person to talk about stand-up with, I abhor open mics haha

I'm in Seattle and the scene isn't that great tbh. There's a few places but we've also had some clubs close down. My friend does competitive improv about once a week at one of the places, he's taken the classes and everything. Improv really isn't my preferred form of comedy tbh, I'm much more interested in traditional standup. Thanks for the input!
