in the comments for the ep on the Earwolf sub, someone says they mention Playing Games being done for on this week's Players Club episode

 

hmm... I don't remember that. Seems like they hinted they were unsure of the future of it, but I didn't catch a concrete statement saying it was done

I know it was the last of season 2. I hope they wouldn't cancel it, it's a fun quick listen.

 

Ok I am relistening, and they do kind of make it sound like it might be done. Mention PFT being the guest for the season finale, and Matt says jokingly when asked if there will be a season three, "Outlook: not good." Must not have gotten the exposure they were hoping for. They did say they would have to do at least a couple more though due to the people who donated to smile train to be on it lol

Sounds like we need a grassroots campaign to get season 3

 

I don't get how every NNF isn't listening to it?

 

It's easily one of my favorite podcasts this sucks

 

I didn't realize it was still a Stitcher Premium show. How fucking cheap are Stitcher to not want more of it? Pardo records it in his own studio and it goes up on the NNF feed. There's virtually zero overhead other than paying the talent, which I assume is already very low. I guess giving out a couple year subscriptions a season is really gutting them.

 

I don’t have stitcher premium and listen to it.

 

Weird. I wonder why they wouldn’t do more if they wanted to then?

Ah fuck, that hurts. Easily a top 3 influence on all things pop culture for me. My mom got me a subscription when I was probably way too young. Have every issue from like 98-09 somewhere at my parents. Shaped my humor, movie references, love for parody

 

I have no idea where else to put this but apparently Eric Andre made an album that's kind of just a bunch of random samples thrown together and it's actually kind of cool?
