I didn't realize Pluto TV had any of their own content. I thought they just gathered free streaming stuff off the internet and compiled it into once place. This is great news though.

I'm trying to decide which patreon I should subscribe to between flagrant ones, doughboys and blank check. Anyone wanna sell me on one of them?

 

Doughboys Double is a no brainer imo

(Flagrant ones doesn’t charge you immediately, so you could subscribe and check out a ton of episodes for free to see if you like it. It definitely gets better as it goes, I didn’t love the first 5 episodes or so but it’s a current favorite)

 

The Flagrant Ones is the podcast I most look forward to every week now. Great if you're a basketball fan but I think it's accessible even if not. Not that there won't be enough league news, but they've mentioned spending some of the off season doing episodes where they create "Secret NBA" expansion teams, which is also the format of the 2nd episode which should still be free on Patreon. I also think that ep is the most inaccessible for how much player name listing they do, so if you like that one then you'll probably love it.

But also I think the double compliments doughboys really well and gives them opportunities to go off format, can't really go wrong there either

Doughboys I pay every month, because I'm up to date and don't want to fall behind, but for a few others, I just rotate them.

 

Blank Check is only worth it right now if you have the time/desire to go through the entire MCU. But if you’re at all interested in that, it’s worth it

TFO is definitely worth it if you’re a Handbook head, interest in basketball a plus but not necessary

Doughboys has the biggest back catalogue so you get the best bang for your buck but I feel like it’s more hit or miss than the main feed

 

The Double is worth it for the Star Wars auction alone tbh

 

I pay monthly for the Double and TFO because I too drip with cheese.
