This is a weird place to ask but there's not a specific thread about it so...

Has anyone here been to sxsw for the comedy festival?
My cousin just moved to Austin and wants me to visit that week but I don't really know how it works. Is it easy to get into shows without a badge? They're way too expensive for me and I don't want to spend a ton of time waiting in lines if I'm not guaranteed entry. Also, does anyone have recommendations on who I should see or what I should do, comedy and otherwise?

 

Not much help at all but I think you can usually get into DLM without a badge.

 

That's actually the one thing I saw when I googled it lol I haven't listened in a long time but I'll have to check it out just because I remember loving the SXSW episodes back in the day.
