Sebastian Maniscalo’s comedy is mostly observational humor. He’s not controversial at all and is mostly clean. Not sure why he’d Market himself as a tough guy tell it like it is guy because I don’t get that from him at all.

His ‘what’s wrong with people’ special from 2012 was really funny but everything since has been OK at best.

Also, stunned people in here were unfamiliar with him. He’s probably the biggest stand up act around as of late. I think he just broke a bunch of MSG records last week.

Twitter with fucking scorchers this week, Jesus. I am happy to see that Mulaney dropped Dave Becky. He's credited on Russian Doll, and still reps Amy, tho.

Stitcher premium has all of em! If you don’t already have it you can usually find a subscription for pretty cheap with whatever coupon code is floating around

It is worth it for those sweeties

Lauren having bad politics doesn't really surprise me unfortunately. She says a lot that seems reactionary and out of convenience.

Thank you! I listened to a few when it first started and like it but didn’t stick with it but I had to walk away from my desk from laughing so people didnt think I’m more crazy than I am.

The whole Late Late Show episode is gold but the ending makes me unreasonably happy.

This is a weird place to ask but there's not a specific thread about it so...

Has anyone here been to sxsw for the comedy festival?
My cousin just moved to Austin and wants me to visit that week but I don't really know how it works. Is it easy to get into shows without a badge? They're way too expensive for me and I don't want to spend a ton of time waiting in lines if I'm not guaranteed entry. Also, does anyone have recommendations on who I should see or what I should do, comedy and otherwise?

Not much help at all but I think you can usually get into DLM without a badge.
