Holy fuck the story Tom Arnold tells on Never Not Funny starting around the 50 minute mark is INSANE (tw: suicide)

I genuinely think he's going to pass out he's talking so fast and gasping so hard

 

What the gist of the story? You can spoiler tag it if you want

 

it's almost impossible to capture, it's something you really need to listen to but he says he has a hilarious story about his brothers wife recently committing suicide and then tells it but it's just so fucked up and weird. There's no way for me to explain why it's funny without sounding like I'm laughing at a woman's suicide, it's just the absurdity of it all.
I gotta say, as often unbearable and over energetic as he is in his NNF appearances, he manages to get some huge laughs. Any stories he tells about his brothers are just so ridiculous

 

Hmm, never heard that story from him but he’s usually an interesting guy to listen to on podcasts with his career in show biz

 

Coming from Chris Farren, that’s high praise.

 

Listened to that latest episode based on all the praise and holy fuck, The Centipede got me good

Also died when "Brick" started playing

 

I've literally seen and talked to Farren at multiple live HH shows in LA, I always tell him he's gotta go on (I think I've tweeted it at him/chef kevin before too) but he says hes too shy/afraid. :/

 

Go see Off Book live if you ever get the chance. I caught one of the Philly shows last night and it was amazing

 

Definitely, the live eps I saw last year with Rachel Bloom and Taran Killam are my favorites all time

 

Is anyone else watching Black Monday? The cast is loaded with people from the comedy scene.
