i pay for Stitcher Premium, Doughboys, and used to pay for the Whooch/DLM premium bundles/eps. am way more inclined to throw $10 every year to content i’d own, but would sign up for more Patreon if they made me want it bad enough. i don’t follow NBA or like action movies all that much unfortunately

 

if I can get something for free I'm not gonna spend money on it in most basic terms haha, like it's the same podcast if it costs me money or not

 

Doughboys as given me so much free entertainment I feel like $5 a month is nothing compared to how much enjoyment I get out of it.

 

Yeah thats why I pay $5 for TESD and Doughboys

 

I subscribe to doughboys, Your Kickstarter Sucks podcasts and the Not Even A Show bonus episodes from Youtube.

More people need to listen to YKS and check out Not Even A Show on YouTube. NEAS has some cringey bits in the beginning but he prank calls conservative radio shows and the show evolves into something really great. Required weekly viewing in my opinion.

 

Doughboys and Tell Em Steve Dave have brought me more joy than any other piece of art, probably. Shame that Bry Johnson is going full tilt alt-right

I just want to say I totally understand why someone would financially support a podcast, it's personally hard to justify but you know it's labor and you can't place a price tag on laughs

 

He's just heavily reactive to anything he's deemed as "PC" and continually has bad takes. There was a run of episodes that lasted a few months that were unbearable because it was just him complaining. Thankfully Walt is levelheaded

Might just be because I was such a big fan and it's such a sore subject but Rob Delaney randomly throwing shots at Mac Miller on Twitter today really rubbed me the wrong way. I usually really enjoy his tweets but it seemed super uncalled for


Brandon Wardell had a really good burn though

(his Kimmel set was tremendously bad and it's basically been scrubbed from the internet)
