Bobby Moynihan’s trump story on high and mighty is one of the greatest I have heard on a podcast.Also I don’t think I have ever heard James adomian’s real voice before.

 

I am really liking the Scott Mills Daily Podcast. He is a BBC Radio host, and the banter between him and co-host Chris Stark is top notch. I just thought i would share as not often i would subscribe to something that does a daily week-day podcast, but it is pretty funny. It is UK focussed, but take away some event plugs, its universal for most part.

 

This is hilarous.

Jealous. I've seen him twice and both times are in my top 10, maybe even 5 stand up sets ever. He's so good.

 

This will be my third time seeing him. My first and third times seeing him are in the top 10 funniest performances I've ever seen with the first time easily being either #1 or #2. My second time seeing him was at a club full of shit faced middle aged people who got free tickets from a radio station so he didn't really have a chance that night unfortunately.

 

The best thing about him is that you never know what you're going to get. The first time I saw him, he came out and acted like he was a preacher for the first 20 minutes of his set. Half the crowd who knew he was, were cracking up. The rest of the crowd just seemed confused.

The other time, he started with and English accent for the first 15 minutes.

 

He's one of the only people I'll pay to see multiple times in a weekend if I can.

The first time I saw him he started his set with a southern accent and then he quickly realized there was a large group of Senior high school wrestlers from Texas at the show for their team trip so he just kept the accent the entire time without bringing it up.

 

Absolutely. I took my gf with me the first time and she had never even heard of him before. When the show ended, she said, can we stay for the late show? I was totally down, but it was sold out already.

 

Nerdist is being renamed Id10t. I don’t understand the new name at all

 

is there any meaning behind it beyond it just being a stylized version of the word idiot?

It’s also the name of the fest he started. Basically Nerdist got sold to Legendary years ago and the company was bought out/changed hands and Hardwick felt no longer in control of the brand. Podcast stays the same with a new name.

Finally got around to watching the two newest Chappelle specials. Didn’t love them as much as the two from earlier this year. The one in the small club seemed off to me, like he was winging the whole set.
