About to watch Spy. I'm not big on spy films, and wasn't a fan of McCarthy in Bridesmaids, but I have faith in Paul Feig

 

Spy was quite enjoyable for me, considering I didn't love The Heat and McCarthy is generally hit or miss for me.

 

I remember really disliking Johnny English, and that's all I'm really thinking about right now

A bit he did on Caligula I think where Jeselnik goes "I think my friend Jeff is gay..." when I first heard it I thought it was really clever - the way it was setup as a homophobic joke and then ended up being him just being a horrible friend.

One of the things I like about Anthony is how carefully he crafts his jokes, making sure that it's funny even if it's offensive, or something like that - if that makes sense.

 

Yeah I love lines like that too, super clever and funny lines that nobody would actually come up with off the top of their head in real life. Veep is really good with those

 

They were great. Saw Andy Daly and Hanford outside the theater.

Off the top of my head: Lisa, Once In A While, Blood, Austin and Ace, Dusty Meadow, Charleston Chew, Where Can a Nerd Find an Egg That's Square?, Good Ol Boys, some song about seeing Lions For Lambs, and a song about actress Teri Polo being on a train.

Then there were quite a few really funny ones I'd never heard before.
