Probably going to catch Hannibal this week. He always does a show out here before thanksgiving.

Edit: no more tickets. Ah well.

Does Mark McConville work at Universal Studios as a performer? I swear I just saw him.

Kid Cudi posted a big list of people who reached out to him and helped him during his rehab and Scott Aukerman was on the list

Is there a reason why I've seen several comics releasing new material on networks like HBO and Showtime instead of Netflix or CC? Existing contracts maybe? Of course they don't have to release on Netflix, just wondering why they aren't since most seem to be going that route.

My guess is that premium channels still hold a certain level of prestige. Before CC, HBO was was home to the Young Comedians Specials where dozens of powerhouses got their start and HBO was exclusive to George Carlin specials. At the same time, it's a matter of which outlet is willing to air a certain comic's special.

I think HBO/Showtime vs CC is that CC has commercials and stricter rules about language

I can see HBO and Showtime having advantages over CC. Netflix has been building up a serious roster over the last couple years, though, so I thought that was the place to be. It's weird seeing "HBO" and "Showtime" again.

    Schumer broke the Netflix streak.

An hour long HBO special is not handed out to just any comic. It used to be a pretty big deal if you were given one, and probably still is.

CBB Best ofs for the Australia and UK tours are up on Howl! They're roughly 90% banter, 10% clips. So they're pretty much perfect.

About time. He's been focusing a lot on films lately so I feel like we haven't seen too much of his standup in a while.
