There’s some newer comedian that’s straight up stealing Hedberg’s entire delivery/stage presence but writing his own jokes. It’s weird.
Looked him up, yeah that’s as close to a rip off as you can get. A lot of guys do the kind of quick one liner style, it’s not that hard to make it your own.
I watched some clips based on this thread discussion. It’s sad and hilarious how Tony switched from calling out this insane impression to normalizing and defending it once he realized it would help his show to have this guy on it.
KT also had a guy doing a Patrice thing for awhile. I think he dropped out-of comedy because people started to call out that every story about himself he told on podcasts was a lie. Very weird creepy guy.
I honestly think Seth might be the funniest person who is at or higher than the level of fame that he's at Hopefully that sentence makes sense... but he fucking cracks me up and I love how he doesn't give a shit about giving his real opinions in interviews
Chris Fleming was great tonight. Tried out a lot of new stuff and most of it landed. Love that Bottlerocket gets great comedians.
I was a HUGE GIANT Patton fan around the Comedians of Comedy era - no one in the world was funnier to me and he's what made me fall in love with stand-up truly. But this new special? Boring. The last few? Meh. But I guess that's just par for the course for a wealthy dad who's number one gig isn't stand-up anymore.
Soder is legit one of the funniest on the planet, fell in love with him from the Bonfire and then Son Of A Gary is probably my favorite hour ever. AND he just taped an hour for Netflix - let's go Sodes! Also this is hilarious if you like wrestling impressions
