I feel like Soder is similar to Stav in the sense that he’s likely liberal/left, but he grew up and is still friends with a circle of comedians who are absolute pieces of shit (I think he was just on Legion of Skanks). I would assume being engaged to Katie Nolan help keeps him in check and speaks probably to his personal politics.
I absolutely love Patrice O'Neal's comedy, and his stand up and his O&A riff tangents had a big impact on me; but man sometimes I think it's better he passed before the mid 2010's. I have a strong feeling he would have become a huge piece of shit sometime around 2017-2021.
