I watched 2 minutes and, honestly, if you imagine the AI having Ben Schwartz’s voice and rizz-loaded vocal/facial affects, it’s not that far off from a Schwartz & Middleditch live clip.
Pete Davidson is coming to bottle rocket Saturday which is cool cause it’s 140 person venue but I am not paying $70.
I was getting so anxious when they were teasing their biggest show ever that I wouldn’t be able to get tickets but when I saw it was Pete I was kind of relieved, not interested at all. He’s in town filming a movie, it’s not like CRAZY that he’d do a night there $70 is steep for bottlerocket though
Pete is fine. I saw him once like 6 years ago. I was only somewhat interested because it would be cool to see him in a small place but maybe if it was $20. Good for bottlerocket I guess.
Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Pauly Shore were like THE 90s comedy movie dudes. I saw Bio Dome in the theater when it first came out. Fucking love it still. I actually did a big deep dive into the band that does the opening credits song. Fourth Grade Nothing. I reached out to their singer a few years ago and he sent me the band’s unreleased album. speaking of… they reunited 3 years ago for a show.
Unfortunately, my 4 year old just informed me last night during bed time that we are no longer allowed to watch HBO Max because both the title stinger and “the circle in the middle of the logo” are too scary. Let me know if this special is good.
I actually did an improv show that Kyle Mooney was in last week. He did some short form before my team went up but it was dope to see him live doing cheesy short form games (and watch the audience who may have been there to see him watch him do cheesy short form lol).
