They can’t play trailers because the projector at that theater, the Vista, is set up specifically for Vistavision and OBAA. So, Aziz stood at the front and talked about his shitty movie before the screening of an incredible film at one of 4 places in the world to see it on that format.
I can’t understand what Aziz would have to say about being poor. He’s been filthy rich for more than a decade and completely removed from middle class society. It just reminds me of his comeback special, post-cancellation, where his idea of keeping it low key was performing in a Metallica shirt and jeans instead of a suit.
He also made this movie because his movie with Bill Murray got canceled and he was like I promised all these people a movie I guess
So many of them are dim bulbs trying to bravado their way to being adored as deep philosophers without any of the thought, culpability, or accountability.
I think the craziness was always underneath the surface, but Cummings has really gone off the deep end since she got a podcast.
I remember her proudly trying to get censored on that one New Year’s Eve telecast but instead being allowed to say everything she wanted to say without any incident being very funny.
The Elephant Graveyard videos that have been discussed in this thread are wild. Just finished the Anti-Reality Doomsday Cult about Rogan and his cronies was downright fascinating. The Ron White and Duncan Trussell bits just bummed me the fuck out.
What's Duncan Trussell's deal these days? Haven't heard anything about him lately. I know he was a Rogan guy but I assumed that was more "Aliens are using our third eye to build pyramids" era of Rogan
