It’s so funny to see which comedians aren’t being called out because everyone fully expects their soullessness in everything they do.

I used to think Burr was a reasonably intelligent man, but his “they’re just like us” take about people in the Middle East and just the Middle East in general is so laughably naive it borders on being outright racist. The poor guy almost seems consumed with a childlike wonder that people in that part of the world have a desire to enjoy life and actually do so by partaking in recognizable fast food chains and doing other human things like drinking beer in a social setting. It almost plays as satire. Truly embarrassing.

 

Caleb is a real one for putting this on here. Very few celebrities that come back here do something like this.

I have not had respect for Lapkus since Jack Allison posted about her railing against better pay for younger performers in a UCB meeting. I believe she has also gone to bat for landlords on several podcasts (Newcomers and High & Mighty, specifically)
