Dang, what a day. Comedy Central announced Workaholics is done and NBC announced Chappelle is hosting SNL next week (with A Tribe Called Quest as musical guest)

 

I haven't watched Workaholics in a while but it feels like it has run its course.

Chappelle and Tribe will be great though.

 

The last season of Workaholics was really good but I do agree that the time has come to move on.

 

I'll have to watch it. I liked the show early on, but kind of stopped watching for whatever reason.

 

I was the same way until a friend of mine put it on when his cable went out for a day. It wasn't anything ground breaking but it didn't lack in quality. It's nice to have a couple unwatched seasons of something to go back to on a boring weekend. I think that's why I keep putting off B$P.

 

Anyone listening to Hannibal's pod? He comes off as an asshole occasionally but it's def fun to just hear him shoot the shit about tour life or whatever. Especially when he's talking about experiences in cities you're fairly familiar with (i.e. Columbus on the latest ep)

I don't know. I guess it wasn't that I had low expectations, just wasn't overly excited for it either. Came away really liking it though. May have to revisit some of his older stuff.

 

The previous one was great, can't recall the name off the top of my head though...

 

Watching Knight of Cups and weird seeing Dan Harmon, Thomas Lennon, Joe Lo Truglio & Nick Kroll pop up in this

 

I don't know if I remember catching Harmon.

Beautiful film

 

He's in the very beginning assuming he's playing a director when the scene is at a film shoot. This movie just reiterates my opinion that Malick's films aren't for me (at least in terms of storytelling).

 

At this point it kinda feels like Malick detractors are a majority group, so you're not alone

 

I miss Doug Loves Movies being good

 

The PFT & Matt Gourley ep was good!
