I watched his Netflix special last night. probably first time since it came out but so good. His Charleston special is kind of hard to find I think but I really love it. Has all different material than has been posted here as well.

  3. The new Maron special is probably the closest I've seen a modern set be to classic Carlin. He really took global and personal tragedy and turned it into some of the darkest and funniest bits of his career. "Anti-Woke" comedians should be taking notes.

I liked the Maron but didn't love it. The tragedy stuff was all great though.

Has this world stopped asking what it's thinking?

Maron special is fantastic. He got me choked up with the Lynn stuff but the way he flipped it into comedy was a masterwork.

And some of those people have never actually been “cancelled” Ari’s a POS but never cancelled. Jim Norton has slowly become a bigger dumbass but also has never been cancelled.

It’s Kinane and Braunger with 3 other comedians I don’t know at the Byham. WDVE is hosting it. I know a Kinane show isn’t going to be $20, but $70 is too much for me.

This guy comes up and he’s like, “Hey, are you Paul Rudd from Clueless?” And we start talking to him, and he’s like, “I teach English at the high school. Also, I sometimes write for Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Have you ever heard of this show?” We’re like, “No.” He’s like, “You want to come to my house and we can watch Space Ghost for a while?”
