Sam Morril's new Netflix special is really great

 

Yeah, watched it last night... that cop/teacher bit was sneaky good.

Haven't watched much stand-up recently, but I just saw Sheng Wang has a Netflix special coming out and that should be good. That guy is hilarious, I saw him at Largo on my birthday with Tig, Mulaney and Kroll, and he not only held his own, but might've gotten more laughs than everyone.

brett had a mental breakdown and accused Bryan and others of some weird shit like organizing sweeps on homeless shelters with the police. Iirc he was getting off medication cold turkey and it had some bad side effects

 

Damn. Was that addressed on the show or mostly an online thing? Bummer to hear either way, hope they're all good

 

He issued an apology before an episode recently iirc.

 

I guess Louis CK is officially not cancelled now? Playing a show at MSG

 

He hasn’t been. He’s been touring and making movies and shit.

 

I think what I mean is, since all that went down he was doing smaller tours and such, and not popular films, but now filling up MSG will surely be the biggest show he’s done since all that shit about him became known

He won a Grammy six months ago. Decidedly not canceled.

 

I seen him play in 2016 in Edinburgh. He was good and the venue was about a 3k capacity which i think sold out pretty quick.

So i was surprised to see him announce a show at The Hydro arena in Glasgow. Treble the size. Thought id go on and check how its doing seat wise. It has been downgraded vanue with a 1/3 still to sell.

As far as Blocked Party goes, I’m firmly in John’s side that The Go Off Kings’ obsession with old dicks and poop is always off-putting.

 

the go off kinds sound alerts really make the stream unwatchable for me. But I'm definitely a John Guy (not to try to pile onto the John Guy bit from last week's ep) when it comes to that stuff.
