I tried to watch this. It was really painful. I think we've reached the tipping point for programs where comedians talk to each other, usually about comedy, but life as well. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Todd Glass. I think this is a poor/generic venue for him, though.

 

I did not expect to see that! It is disheartening to see the comedians we talk about in here regularly who have liked Kurt's posts and continue to follow the accused. I figured Amy would have his back too.

Looks like Dan Soder liked Metzger's post too, according to the screenshot. That's the surprising one to me. Been pretty public knowledge that Che/Metzger are real good at just not fucking getting it.

 

Dan Soder and Chris Cubas were two I remember right off the top of my head

 

I finally snagged a M-F 9-5 and I'm super glad I'm allowed to listen to podcasts at work.

 

Metzger's twitter is a terrifying, aggressive, self-absorbed trash pile right now, and goddamn it, I hate myself for the fact taht his series of tweets parodying how he's just viewed as a Schumer writer as far as blogs care made me laugh quite a bit. Heightened really well.

 

To be fair I only also know him from Ugly Americans and being a rape apologist

Of course Kurt comes out only after losing his job to say the posts were a comedic way to express how people mob together and immediately assume guilt without even knowing who the victims are. Which is definitely a valid point, but the outwardly and intentionally crass way of making that point is exhausted and lazy even if that was actually his initial intent, which based on his previous comments on the subject, I don't actually believe were his initial intent at all.

 

What has he said about this? His name has popped up now and then but I'm not familiar with his work/stand-up.
