Thanks, I know about Blank Check from the hosts appearing on other podcasts and I downloaded a majority of Robert Zemekis’s movies episodes. Scott Hasn’t Seen has been something I want to listen to, I might do a free trial of CBB World just to download a bunch of episodes.

 

I started watching The Chris Gethard Show on HBO Max and this episode where they’re on workout equipment is absolutely killing me

 

Carlin special was great

 

Man I used to literally piss myself laughing at Heidecker's early stand-up. You could cut the awkward tension with a knife. The audience really had no idea that orchestrating those moments was part of the experience haha

Just finishing this up and seconding this.

 

The one from a couple years ago? Man I saw some clips and to be perfectly honest the amount of re-used material and how most of the audience seemed in on the shtick by then kinda just made me want to keep watching footage of his earliest sets instead. But having not seen it yet I don't have expectations.

Have you seen it? How was it?

 

It’s great! I haven’t seen his earlier stuff though so I couldn’t tell you how much is reused since it was all new to me. But it’s a real gas.

just finished norm's special. hilarious, obviously, but also incredibly touching and morbid at times - especially towards the end. you can tell that he knew his time was almost up and just wanted to get everything out. it would have been nice if he had gotten the chance to perform this material in front of a crowd, but it's still a wonderful send off to the greatest to ever do it.
