The Jerrod special is really powerful. One of those specials that's not necessarily a laugh riot but feels really personal and intriguing

 

Jerrod Carmichael's been one of my favorite comedians and biggest inspirations as I pursue my own stand-up, and the fact that I've only really recently realized my own queerness made 'Rothanial' hit all that much harder. It's also a very, very funny special. He really found a good balance between candid honesty and great jokes, even if the last 10 minutes or so are largely joke free.

 

NEAS season finale. And it rocks.
