I just took a look at the comics who lost LCS and it's crazy. Imagining Todd Glass getting pushed out so early is surprising as hell. I wonder if any of it is worth going back and watching.

 

I remember the Todd Glass season. He was funny as hell. We watched the first few seasons has a family. I remember some dude, Buck Star, that would show up to every audition but had no jokes.

 

I remember watching the Dat Phan season, its an interesting show but its always hard to do something like comedy in a competitive format

 

I remember a lot of the lesser known or newer comedians only had 5-10 minutes and would repeat a lot of jokes.

 

The only thing I remember from Last Comic Standing is Dat Phan and his spreadsheets

 

I completely forgot that Ralphie May died

Also re: LCS… the one season I watched is where James Adomian made it to the top ten and it was the only reality show I actually called a number to vote (this was when he was killing it on CBB, formally Comedy Death Ray). Sure enough, he was the first one eliminated.

 

About a year before that on Roast Battle: “Your wife must really hate you to get divorced now and take half your money, she could’ve waited a few months and taken all of it.”

It was a very brutal roast then, made even better by its accuracy later.

 

Eastbound & Down’s Ben Best Has Died

 

Heather is one of the best parts of the whose line reboot calling her a podcast guest is absurd

 

he’s so great in Foot Fist Way and Eastbound. I wish their collaborations could have continued. RIP
