Singing with strangers in a theatre was a new experience for me, haha. how was it on your end?

 

This leaves a sour taste in my mouth as John’s work I’ve consistently loved and I went to high school with his ex-wife (to be fair, I knew her in passing and saw her at a bunch of shows in the early 2000s). I understand he’s struggling with addiction and I hope he doesn’t relapse again as it has proven to be a problem for him. But I feel like he threw her to curb in an effort to start his life over, like totally blindsiding her.

 

I don’t think any of us are really in the position or have the knowledge to judge. Divorces are often messy and nuanced. Add addiction into it and it’s even more complicated. I just hope both are able to move on in a healthy way.

 

unfortunately for me the theater didn’t get their hard drive in on time so they just played it straight off Netflix ): No surround sound, streaming quality. And the front speakers that it was coming out of had the vocal way louder than everything else. I got a refund but it’s not like they’re going to play it ever again. I’m salty about it still lol

 

Chappelle just announced a show for dc this Friday night and there was a time I would’ve been all over that, at least masks are required for the entire show

As a young teen in the mid to late 90s when Comedy Central could only afford the rights to air cultish to non-blockbuster comedies, Clifford was on a bunch. It felt so surreal as a kid and couldn’t fathom how this got made. But I’m glad that over the years the appreciation of this movie. The scene in particular is amazing.
