yeah Brandon made fun of him for being a superficial idiot on instagram so dude tried to start a fight little kid Meet me on the playground style. He brought 5 guys to a basketball court to try to fight him. Brandon kept making fun of him and people started digging through this dude's tweets and found that he said a lot of ignorant shit.

 

I guess I'm behind but did they have problems?

 

I remember them bickering a ton on DLM and they go back and forth on twitter occasionally.

 

Always assumed the Kumail/Maron beef was more playful than serious, interesting.

 

Their back and forth on DLM is a classic

 

Yea, I remember the specific DLM episode where they were taking light jabs at each other but Maron seemed to take more offense to it. I think he's admitted to jealousy over younger comics who achieve a level of fame higher than he has.

 

Maron and Eric Andre patched things up on WTF this week too. Maron's growing up before our very eyes, guys!

 

Yeah I'm interested to listen to that WTF

 

Anyone want to give me the gist of Maron/Andre issues?

 

Back in 2007 Eric was hosting and Maron came on and made fun of Eric's act relentlessly (the joke they keep making is that Eric was putting the mic stand on his head as a prop). Later that night Maron was talking more shit about Eric at a different club and Eric heard about it,

At the time Maron was going through a divorce and was at his most bitter stage and Eric had just moved to LA and was really sick at the show.

 

Maron's IFC show kinda goes into the Kumail thing, but he has actors playing Jonah and Kumail.

Man Adam has changed

 

David cross' special on Netflix is pretty hilarious. Actually makes good points pertaining to the election and America.

 

I'm real into the Cross special. The joke about the religious reasoning for child deaths actually made me say "holy shit" out loud.

 

Anyone else ever attend Summahfest? It's definitely one of my favorite events every year.

 

Watched the David Cross special and it was like he stole his religion material from HH.

Religion causes all wars, and isn't that interesting?

Forgot the new David Cross special was up. I'm interested in seeing how it translate on TV. He killed when I saw him live.

 

I love how Paul isn't even trying to stifle his off-mic laughter at the beginning of today's cbb

 

I listened to it on the bus this morning. It had me cracking up. I love this character and Cameron made it even better.

 

It's about as good of a start to a Monday morning as I could hope for.
