For sure. There's already been a ton that have come and gone. And I have no interest in watching any of them.

I just really liked it, I guess that post did come along as ignorant and stupid lol. I've been a fan of him since way back, some of the first YouTube videos I got into. Usually all his specials get high praise and not much discourse.

I understand comedy is subjective, and I know Bo is privalged to get to just stay home during the beginning of the pandemic, I just thought it was really fun and special, one of the few comedians that I've liked since my early teens that hasn't turned into someone just complaining about cancel culture.

It's all pretty narcissistic though but I'm sure he knows that lol

You’d think for Conan’s last week of late night ever after 28 years they’d have a little more stage/venue production…

Also didn’t watch, is it still the low key Covid set up?

They’re doing it at Largo with a masked audience. I understand wanting a big set for his send-off, but I think there’s only so much they can do there. Plus, Conan has made no bones about he’s just going to HBO Max.

I haven’t watched him in awhile but man do I love Conan. All through high school/college I used to watch him.

My heart will always tingle when I think about coming home from my friend's house stoned as hell every school night, getting a snack and watching Conan before going to sleep.

He's responsible for one of my top 3 hardest laughs of all time. I wish I could remember who the guests were so I could look it up but I'm sure it could never hold up so it's probably for the best.

I haven't paid any attention to him for years now but he really is a living legend.

I can't remember the last time I actually watched his show, but I always watch his stuff on Youtube. (Partially why I think he's ending Conan? He knows that format is dead) By far my favorite late night host though

He’s really the last of a dying breed. As much as I love him, Colbert has had his edges sanded off. Fallon and Corden are just PR cogs and Seth Meyers runs his show more like a “Daily Show” Lite.

Conan was like a continuation of OG Letterman without being a hooting asshole. The good thing is he’s now 100% able to do whatever he wants without being shackled to the traditional talk show format. And his podcast is great too.

EDIT: This is also not trying to downplay Desus and Mero, Amber Ruffin and Ziwe, who all rule and should be the future of talk shows.

I've seen literally every episode of Conan's TBS show lol, I wonder if I'm one of the only people that can say that. I got into him towards the end of his run on NBC (I was pretty young, I don't even remember how I discovered him) and have either watched live or recorded every episode of the TBS run

This show ending is actually going to alter my life a little bit lol

It’s wild how much of the last 30 years of comedy were probably largely shaped by him, unconsciously. Just the amount of people he’s influenced is wild.

He has so many great bits, but I think about this one every so often for some reason and it kills me every time.

No talk show host can come close to how naturally funny Conan is, his remotes are all incredible.

I wish I could bully him into hosting a US version of Taskmaster.

His old-timey baseball remote will always be a classic.

But his true comic genius shined so much during the writer's strike when it was just him trying to fill time five nights a week without a writing staff. He's so quick on his toes it's almost unfair.

It’s also soooo obvious how much people love working for him. You see so many of the same staffers in his remotes going back years and years.
