I think Rory has made me laugh harder in a live setting than any other standup

 

He's insane. and I love it. I couldn't recommend seeing a comedian live anymore than him. Every night is a different beast.

 

I actually saw him two nights in a row at the Improv years ago and they were VASTLY different sets.

 

Got to see him open for Doug Benson and Rory had the better set

 

one of my friends saw Rory a couple years ago and apparently the whole set was just about whale semen.

 

Rory rules. His Third Man vinly is great. Just hearing him say Jason destroys me.

On a separate note, does TFO not come out on Wednesdays anymore?

 

TFO comes out on Thursdays. The doughboys were on Hollywood handbook pro.

 

I'm tripping, for the last two weeks I've been like I swore this came out on Wednesdays.

 

Thursdays are big. Doughboys, TFO and NNF. Although I’m a few weeks behind on NNF now.

 

that third man record is amazing. It’s bittersweet because Ive tried to talk about it to friends but none of them have turntables so it always ends with “you just have to listen sometime. God I hope he comes out with a digital copy eventually even if it defeats the whole point of the bit”

 

Saw him in LA before the Third Man recording and he ran with the Jason bit for like 8 minutes and I was crying. One of the only stand ups I’ll still look forward to every special from

 

I watch this video all the time

 

If you haven't watched this super early video from 2007 then I highly recommend it. You can see that early on he was experimenting with that "work with whatever the room has given me."
