Right and deleted the pod or whatever but then went on to say that she was pretty specific about who it was without naming names

  2. Looking forward to this one. Whitmer is really funny, if anyone ever gets a chance to see him do stand up.
I thought the same thing but couldn't be too disappointed as they are consistently fucking hysterical in those roles doing their own thing.

HH was great today. I love the Power Violence guys, but it's so hard to tell Clay and Whit apart by their voices.

The original Clay and Whit episode is what got me into HH so I really liked this episode!

I didn't know where else to write this, but I am touched. My aunt worked at Second City in Chicago for 25 years. She's very sick, in hospice,...Scott Adsit just called her on the phone and talked to her for a couple of minutes and promised to call back tomorrow.

Our family has felt an incredible amount of love from the Chicago comedy community.

I wish her well but she must have a ton of stories for working in a community that produced such great talent.

Yes, I wish I knew more but I think she didn't tell me a lot because I'm sure a lot of the stories are debaucherous.

She started out in Second City Northwest with Colbert. (He and his wife sent flowers to the hospital). My family loves to tell the story of Colbert holding me as a baby at my aunts 18th bday party.

Steve Carrell was her Level A teacher. She was on the SC softball team, played with and against tons of people there. I saw Ron West hit a huge homer one time. Tina Fey sent her unreleased 30 Rock footage to watch in the hospital. Adsit came to her one woman show about breast cancer in NYC.

When Andrew Alexander, the founder of SC, found out my aunt and her wife weren't going on their honeymoon because of their massive hospital bills he paid for EVERYTHING, two weeks in Hawaii.

My "favorite" story though is Chris Farley hitting on her at an after party, and even invited her to do cocaine. She politely declined. This was a week before he died.

The season finale of Wrecked was so good. This show exceeded my expectations by a lot!

Yeah I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. The last episode was genuinely exciting and the whole thing was pretty funny. Interesting angle for the second season too

Kinane's new podcast is great. Looking forward to more episodes!

  13. I don't know if I've ever felt more conflicted about enjoying someone's art than Louie's. He really is a genius when it comes to comedy and drama, but that means absolutely nothing if those allegations are true.

His Vulture quote just really rubbed me the wrong way. "There’s one more thing I want to say about this, and it’s important: If you need your public profile to be all positive, you’re sick in the head. I do the work I do, and what happens next I can’t look after. So my thing is that I try to speak to the work whenever I can. Just to the work and not to my life."

Very deflective and dismissive. I desperately want those allegations to be false, but I can't enjoy anything he does without reflecting on that first.

No, it seemed pretty explicit that it was him but she said it wasn't necessarily assault or anything, he was just being a creep to her.
