Ouch. I liked Alone Together, and just watched her special and mostly enjoyed it too. Bummed to hear that.

Yo the hammer bit in U Talkin is exhausting. This is part of the reason I stopped listening to REM

 

I always thought the show was trying to recapture the magic of the first ~15 episodes, like they’re mimicking themselves. I still listen cause I like them both a lot but it’s definitely not a great podcast

 

Yeah I had to turn it off

 

It's why I stopped listening during the REM season, what was once hilarious pretty quickly grew obnoxious
