I enjoyed his last one but was never a listener of his podcast.

Oddly enough I never thought Bert was funny personally. Seeing the good things makes me want to watch it but then I watched the trailer and I just don't really enjoy that style of comedy. Feels like Dane Cook to me.

 

I'm also not crazy about Bert either

 

I don’t think a comedy special trailer ever PROPERLY sells the product. It messes up all the timing and context which is a huge part of joke telling.

 

Yep, I try to not watch any comedy trailers for that reason, haha.

 

I wanted to watch the Segura one, but the trailer bit had him talking about drowning a dog and my girlfriend said no way.

 

He doesn't actually drown a dog though and he never has, if that sways you.

 

I was worried about watching that bit with my girlfriend but she was game and laughed so I figured the rest of the special would be smooth sailing and I was right.

She does however find YMH reprehensible at times, which I totally get.

 

Segura had some funny bits but overall pretty weak, appreciate the few laughs though.

 

I just binged all the "zack morris is trash" funnyordie. So fucking funny everytime he says "probably fucking killed themself"

 

When did they record this week's NNF? I'm surprised they're in studio.

 

I haven’t listened yet but is the guest in the studio too? I believe they said the gang would stay in studio as long as they could and the guests would call in

 

O'Malley is a mad man and I love it.

 

I didn’t get to the guest yet either but I thought LA was on a lockdown.

 

only got halfway through before I fell asleep but Segura's new stand up just seems off.

 

we need more john mulaney in this crisis tbh.

 

It’s definitely not his best stuff, but I enjoyed it

 

I’ll finish it this weekend most likely he’s still always worth watching

anyone watch that WKUK stream? I don't know why but I feel like there's a few of them that really don't like each other anymore just from their twitter. Totally missed that twitch stream though.
