Lmao I just got to this episode and it’s the best one yet for sure. My name is Sam and I’m now strongly considering changing my name on here to Ampersam.

His partner said he wakes up super early for his show and usually just wastes time surfing Twitter and picking fights.

This was so good. Such an honest look at depression, not unlike Chris Gethard’s. I love Gary. I still think it’s wild he was on Dane Cook’s Tourgasm.

I completely forgot about that. I think he was on last comic standing too.

  5. Not strictly related but the commentary episode talk reminded me of Analyze Phish when they were listening to a tape from a show they went to and Harris made the same joke in studio as he did on the tape

Sometimes I get in my feelings thinking of Harris or Mitch Hedberg, thinking how great it would be to have their weird perspectives in this era.

It's one of the great tragedies of comedy that we'll never know what Mitch's twitter looks like. Sometimes stand ups are just as good or better in mediums that aren't stand up (Bill Burr w/ podcasting comes to mind) and fuck he would've killed it in that format.

Or, as I’ve seen with a bunch of other aging comics, he’d turn into some awful lunatic and ruin all my fond memories.

Twitter warps you’re fucking mind and I don’t know if even Mitch would’ve withstood that shit.

I feel like Harris's Twitter was the closest we'd get to Mitch's, except more crude. Just a lot of weird, funny observations about everyday things, like the chest hair on Lil' Caesar or how he's bringing back the word "Sheesh."

I'd like to think Mitch wouldn't be too concerned with politics or would just embrace his hippie side. But who knows. He seemed deathly afraid of getting personal, so maybe he wouldn't touch it at all.

Hard to say, since Mitch's comedy style in comparison to most was always timeless and oddly wholesome. You might still be right of course, but he seems to stand as being remembered as one of the good ones as of now.
