Yeah, glad I went, he was hilarious as usual.

Also, I have to worry about talkers at comedy shows now as well? It’s an epidemic.

 

Read the pilot of Robbie and liked it enough. I think it will be way better live than on the page since Rory is so great.

 

I mean, it is when he gets to the stuff of why he’s so angry. But those first 20 minutes are unfuckwithable edgelord bullshit.

 

You should have gone. The show he did here last weekend was great and it started/ended right on time which was nice because I was weary about going on a Sunday night but it was over a little after 9.

If by “more nuanced than some people are giving it credit for” we mean “only slightly less bad than the Chappelle special because at least Burr didn’t devote any time to attacking Michae Jackson accusers” than yeah hard agree there.

And I’ve enjoyed Burr in the past, even seen him live before, but that early stuff is not great.

 

I missed a whole page of stuff where you talked about going. I don't know what's going on right now.

 

Yeah I've been trying to keep an eye on who's defending him to see if there's anyone I need to stop following/supporting

 

Idk if Jeselnik is defending him or if the bit is that he’s genuinely happy about the dude’s day getting ruined

 

If this is the same Burr i'm thinking of, I've had him under the canceled file since shooting Alexander Hamilton

 

Yeah you truly never know with him. Especially on Twitter. It's honestly 50/50 either way. And I say that as someone who is not a fan of his from prior to this.
