Well I watched the Burr special. It’s about what you would expect - the first half hour is like an alt-right comedy dream, just making fun of people outraged, people that got raped, people that claimed they got assaulted, etc. Like Chappelle, none of it is done in a way that’s particularly clever or anything beyond saying everyone is either too whiney or lying.

He does seem to have some moments of genuine reflection of who he is and why he’s so angry, but it’s wrapped up such a toxic package, it’s not worth the watch. I really hope the trend of “ArE YoU TrIgGeReD?” jokes goes away at some point because there is no comedian I’ve seen that can navigate in a way that’s remotely funny.

Bill Burr's new special is a lot more nuanced than some people are giving it credit for.

 

For the 3 guests that were on DLM today that was a pretty terrible episode. You could tell they were treating it as just another junket and wanted it to be over.
