I mean, that’s a great design but I can’t even imagine what I’d say if someone asked me what it meant

I wore my Hey Nong Man shirt to the zoo and some guy was blown away, asking “Is that a Comedy Bang Bang” shirt? Felt like we really connected for that 30 seconds.

I can’t wait to wear my Doughboys Dream Mitchy shirt out in public.

  5. This is the Doughboys shirt I own (in black) and I love it. Wear it all the time regardless of what people think. And I know it's a poor decision, but I definitely entertained the idea of a Doughboys tattoo last week haha.

Has this world stopped asking what it's thinking?

Louie performed last night to a standing ovation at the Comedy Cellar. So brave to come back!

  8. Downloaded Stitcher to listen to In Voorhees We Trust and I'm extremely frustrated that I can't import my Doughboys Double feed into the app

The unofficial RSS feeds are a blessing. Haven’t opened the Stitcher app in months.

All of my favorite female comedians dragging him has been great. I like MIB’s comedy a lot but he needs to learn when to just shut the fuck up

it's cool seeing a lot of the comedy community be like fuck L**s, I say a lot because I'm sure like Bill Burr would perform with him in a heartbeat

    Just a friendly reminder

It's way too soon for Louis to perform again, but it was going to happen eventually. People standing up and applauding him is ridiculous considering why he has been absent. He was never going to talk about his actions in a surprise drop-in that was his first time back on stage so I dunno why people expected that. If his first public statement on his actions since his apology was standup comedy, I'd be pissed off. It doesn't mean that he won't be open about that stuff later.

I hope Louis genuinely addresses the past 10 months and what he's done to deal with his severe issues in an honest and straightforward way. Hopefully soon. I do believe that rehabilitation is possible in his case, though unlike what MIB says, MeToo has nothing to do with that rehabilitation (dude really botched it). I want to know that he has started and is continuing to have therapy as well as rehabilitation for his sexual disorder. I want to know that he's done things to help those that he has hurt. I need to see genuine improvement and a commitment to being better.

mainly anecdotal I know but I can't think of a comedian I've discovered in the past 5 years or so who isn't female/POC/LGBTQ or some combination of those

That list is genuinely helpful. A shameful amount of the comedians that I follow are straight men.

Louis could have done what he did as any other comedian and he still would deserve to be outcast for years at the least, but there are certain aspects of his wrongdoing that make me think, yes, he does deserve a life sentence as a fully retired performer.

the reason being is that Louis didn’t just make jokes and then emotionally and sexually abuse women. he joked ABOUT it. his stand up and his show alike are littered by what are now clear examples of hiding in plain sight. he did terrible things, turned them into big laughs, and then seemingly used those laughs as some way of reconciling with himself. some of the fun of stand up comedy is wondering where the truth gets stretched to better a bit, what the balance is between life experience and fabrication. doing that with Louis at this point would just be disturbing. i can’t trust him as a narrator anymore.

In Voorhees We Trust is nice. I imagine it'll just get funnier as the guys get more comfortable with each other, seems like they're fairly new friends.

  21. Okay, now that I have the unofficial RSS feeds for it, what are the must-listens on Stitcher Premium?

Agreed with Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Presentation and Threedom.

My stitcher premium account expires in a couple days and I really don't know if I want to re-up, I think there's only one currently active show I listen to. Does anyone know if old episodes I've downloaded will stop working when it expires?
