I download everything. If I had unlimited data, I might stream more, but I still like actually "having" something even if it's not physical. Also, you never know when you'll be somewhere that has a shitty connection.

 

I have unlimited, but it's throttled at 2 GB, but I never reach that even though I use it 10+ hours a day.

 

I only stream podcasts but I only listen at home on my laptop

 

podcasts often clock in around 100 MB this doesn't add up for me haha

i download all my pods, have them set to autodownload and have them set to automatically delete when finished. best of both worlds

 

Hmm, well if I reach that throttle, I don't notice it at all.

 

maybe your carrier is more forgiving, i'm sure it varies wildly and mine just sucks. when i hit my threshold it goes down to like dial up speeds. i always hit mine though because of reddit thumbails, facebook autoplay vids, snapchat etc. it's the worst.

 

I listen to maybe 3-5 podcasts a week and I'm subscribed to like 50. haha

 

What how do you use it for 10 hours a day and not get to 2 GB? I use my data 8 hours a day and am at 7.5 GB used with 10 days left in my billing cycle.

His WTF interview is a good listen. His music background is just as interesting as his comedy background. From being a rock drummer in high school to studying jazz improv in college and having a jazz radio show. After college he studied musicology abroad for years as a Watson Fellow traveling to North Africa and The Middle East.

 

Every morning I manually download every podcast I'm going to listen to that day from the podcast's website like a true psychopath.
