I enjoy mock the week still. Cats does countdown I like a lot but don’t seek out new episodes because they stopped using joe Wilkinson who is brilliant in that role and the premises have seemed to be re-used a lot. Regular 8 out of 10 cats I like but the Jon Richardson/Sean Locke era was my favorite. I like Rob Beckett but not as a team captain, though I do enjoy Aisling Bea a lot. Wish Sean was back on the show.

Would I lie to you is probably my favorite panel show. Could listen to david Mitchell and lee Mack for hours. Lee’s story of his first stand up set that he told on the Graham Norton show is a great clip if you haven’t seen it.

 

Still love the episode he did the impression and everyone tore him to shreds. “If Chris Eubank we’re here right now he WOULDNT be offended it’s that bad.”

 

Oh my God. That was so funny. Did you see the one where they brought Chris Eubank on and surprised Greg?

 

I caught a clip of that, he looked terrified that he was going to be beat up. Fantastic to see Greg, who is 6-foot-8, be so scared.

 

Also, if you have 50 minutes you want to kill, there is almost no better way than with a stitched together series of Bob Mortimer truth and lies. Love this video.

 

Oh my God. Bob's names are so funny. I also loving Henning's story about going to Morocco with a strange and being on Interpol's Missing Persons list haha.

 

So good. Kevin Bridge's story of buying a horse in Bulgaria, too.

 

Bob Mortimer is Robin Williams levels of talented and funny. An absolute national treasure that gets no where near the level of appreciation he deserves.

I don't know if you guys watch it or are aware of it, but as for British TV, I'd recommend Taskmaster as well. For those unaware, each series features the same 5 comedian guests each week, and Greg Davies sets them challenges throughout the episode (giving them a bowl of potatoes and telling them to make the tallest tower, for example). That is hilarious too, feel like a lot of you would appreciate it.

I can only watch clips that are available on Youtube. Are there streaming services that have panels shows like these in their lineup?

 

I'll be honest, I'm not sure. Taskmaster, for example, I know is available on a service called UKTV Play (I think that's it's name). It's like a catch up service for the channel that it's on (similar to iPlayer), so you could VPN your way onto that if you're not from the UK. 4OD is the Channel 4 equivalent for shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats and all the Ayodade stuff.

As for things like Netflix and Amazon Prime and that, I'm not sure what's available on there, I don't really use them .
