I’ve said it in various other threads that if anything Trump has killed pretty much all political comedy, because no joke about him will be funnier than the actual reality.

Also half of the Trump bits people do are barely even jokes, they’re like 80% rants

 

but maybe it was all worth it for Mulaney's Horse Hospital bit

 

i did not like that bit lol

 

it was the first trump joke to make me laugh in a long ass time

 

Tig's new special was really adorable. I felt warm and fuzzy by the end. She makes me happy. The bit with the Indigo Girls was a rollercoaster of emotions, and it was so hilarious to watch. At some point I was thinking I don't even know who the Indigo Girls are but now I want to see them.

Feels like she's in a very good place right now. Happy for her.

Anthony Atamanuik’s Trump Dump show at UCB months before he won the primaries was some of the funniest and most poignant comedy that I’ve witnessed. I feel lucky to have seen it in person. Unfortunately his impression/show was watered down a bit.

 

the problem is that Trump is already absurd so making jokes that are more absurd than what he actually says are impossible, plus he's a shithead of course
