Had an intervention last night, my girlfriend informed me I should stop demanding everybody listen to HH when I'm drunk

Random recommendation that may or may not be a productive episode for a newcomer is the Deadpool one. Relistened recently and definitely one of my favorites. Also if you have stitcher premium I'd recommend listening to a bunch of the pro versions. Feel like they're just a bit less bit dense and referential, or at least less self referential

 

Finally got around to watching this new Ali Wong special. Really funny.

I used to feel the exact same, but high profile accessible comedians getting Netflix specials are generally not the best due to mass accessibility. When I finally gave HH and other things a chance because of this thread after glazing over all of it for years I realized this is the best outlet for comedy hands down

 

I just really can't get into podcasts...like at all. my mind wanders so much when I don't have something to look at it. It's crazy.

Listening to CBB, I grew up in the same town as Mulaney's wife Anna (I was a year ahead of her) and now I totally remember going to a school assembly on natural gas.

 

i am def officially on the HH train, and it was accomplished solely through their guest spots on other shows that i already enjoyed, so maybe try that method

 

also is there a single character comedian that is more underrated than Seth Morris? literally never less than really, really good. this can also function as my semiregular plug for The Seth Morris Radio Project.
