probably not the whole band because they don't really exist as a band and Billburry is off the grid and pretty much retired and Michael Stipend strikes me as a bit of a sourpuss but it does seem like Michael Meyers and probably Peter Dollar Bill know the podcast exists

 

They met everybody except stipend earlier this year. They discuss it at length in the first lance bangs episode.

yeah they're all still friends and occasionally play together, Michael Stipend just decided that HarEM's tenure was over and he wanted to move on to other things, and I know Peter Dollar Bill always has new bands so I think it was mutual

 

Late on commenting on the new Mulaney special but holy shit the “STREET SMARTS” bit is so good. Him speaking as a 7yo with a thick Chicago accent and planting coke on a mugger had me dying.

Lmao I went on a tirade in our group chat about this piece and how wrong it was. I present my case with a number of examples:

1) the scene where the cop is talking to Charlie Sheen and her hat gets bigger in every shot
2) the Signs parody scene where the guy that kills Charlie Sheen's wife says "Tom, I'm going to need a ride home"
3) Anthony Anderson cocking his fucking shovel and a bullet flying out of it
4) Anthony Anderson and Kevin Hart arguing over how you wake up dead
5) the 8 Mile scene when they're shooting people with paintballs and Kevin Hart uses a paint roller
