Finally getting around to S2 of ADPPP and goddamn it kills me

 

Been rewatching the Comedy Bang Bang show lately. Is it just because I'm already a huge fan of his or did Kid Cudi do a surprisingly really good job on this show? I thought there was no way he'd be able to fill Reggie's position very well but he very easily held his own imo

 

Kid Cudi was super good on the show. I remember vividly thinking he was fantastic on his episode as a guest when that aired. I enjoyed his and Scott’s dynamic a lot more than Weird Al, though Al is very good.

 

Where do i start with the Comedy Bang Bang podcast? Is it worth starting from episode 1 or is there a certain point it gets going ?

 

Any year-end best-ofs to get a sample plus you can't go wrong with Scott and PFT chatting in between clips

I kind of feel he hurt his own argument with this tweet. "You're hilarious you should be on my podcast, I love what you do! Not enough to pay you though."

Speaking totally outside of everything, I feel like if the host of the podcast is making money off the work of their friends/peers, it's kind of fucked to not share some of that income.

 

Scott talked about it too. I disagree with him.

awful argument. you should've gotten paid then too. yell at your union, not the people who want to get paid. Also, "its all of our faults" is awful copout to shill for a network you obviously have a vested interest and get paid by!

 

Government should subsidize podcast networks!

Also something I've been thinking about, most podcasting is done in LA where transportation is a big deal, like they got to pay money for gas and also all that time driving, plus being paid for their work of course

 

They should talk about LA transportation more on podcasts

Hayes has a show about LA politics that I would listen to if I lived in LA
