I’d lose my mind to see The Muppets live. Why don’t do they do a Muppets tour or something?

 

I saw Sesame Street Live in 1989.

 

Damn. That’s cool. I saw Gordon from Sesame Street do a thing at the mall once, probably around 89 or 90. I went on stage with him and it’s still one of my most embarrassing moments. Haha

I am months behind on every podcast and it makes me tired even thinking about catching up.

 

I miss the OLD CCP pre-Jordan when she was just ruthless to people on the phone. Then one day she talked about actually being happy and that she met someone. Little did we know who it was.

 

Damn comedians achieving a happy and balanced life!

 

haha Not exactly my intention. It was just interesting to hear her pre-Jordan and just-met-Jordan. He actually talked about it on You Made It Weird, about how he stopped smoking weed to be with "his new girlfriend". Her and Jordan made each other better and happier, it seems. Good on them!

How do they balance work and family

 

I like Dave Stone, but sometimes his opinions miss the mark so hard. Can he really not fathom why some people enjoy laughing at a bad movie? His only retort was, "but it's such a shitty movie". Yeah that's the point. And I don't give a shit about The Room, but it's an easy concept to understand.

 

I haven’t listened to the episode but I sort of agree actually. I never really got the appeal of seeing shitty movies. I’m not gona fault people who do, just not my thing

 

But I'm sure you can understand the concept and understand if people like doing it why they would enjoy doing it with The Room.

He's saying he understands irony and people enjoying bad movies, but he can't understand it with this movie.

 

Dave ruined that podcast in my opinion.

 

I’m behind a year but Dave’s stories are my favorite part. He just ate half a container of melted gummy vitamins that he left in the van

 

Dave's vigilante stories are my favorite. Sometimes he says some things that kind of rub me the wrong way, but overall I enjoy listening to him.

 

If he’s saying he can understand it with other movies and not the room, then yeah that’s real dumb

 

Highly, highly recommend James Acaster's new Netflix mini series called Repetoire that dropped today. 4 episodes, 50 minutes each, each of a different one of his stand up shows to date. One of the best of the new class of comedians in the UK at the minute, an absolute master on stage.

Just watched the first one. Really well shot as well, but just absolutely hilarious. Know it's quite USA-centric in here (with good reason as thats where you're all mostly from) but really recommend checking this out.
