excited for the Aparna and Kinane specials. Curious to see why Kinane hates his so much

 

Just watched Kinane's. Not sure why he's unhappy with it. It was good, but maybe not his best. Whatever...

About to watch Aparna next.

I really liked the half hour format though. Wish they'd do more of that and less of the 80 minutes ones.

 

I’m excited for the Netflix 15 minute specials. I think that’s a great idea

 

Definitely agree. Especially for lesser known/up and coming comics.

 

Aparna did her power point bit for like half of her special, which has been my favorite part of seeing her live the past two times. So glad its finally recorded, it captures her style so well.

I honestly thought that happened a while ago. I could have sworn some podcast mentioned the whole block was for sale and thats why Harmontown moved

Sad Meltdown is closing, went to a few DLMs there and Summahfest is one of the things I look forward to most every year.

Also, two unrelated things I find hilarious that I haven't really seen mentioned:

How Sean has reversed his and Hayes' background and talks about going to Harvard and how Hayes took has all the improv training.

And Scott being salty that his friends never put him in anything as an actor eventhough he's put so many people on and uses his friends in everything he produces.

 

I bet Scott will get his big break sometime soon, I could see him popping up in the next Apatow project or something.

 

After finishing Love it's kind of insane to me that he didn't have a walk on role or something in it considering he had a hand in helping out the careers of so many of the people on that show.

 

I can't imagine Scott in like a normal acting role, I can only think of him breaking the fourth wall immediately and like winking and questioning the reality of whatever he's in

But I never saw his Brooklyn 99 episode so who knows
