Thoughts on the new Brian Regan special?

Eh, it was okay. There are some gems in there, but his schtick wears a little old trying to watch a whole hour. It's worth checking out though.

 

I'm against Raised By Tv now, they're just singing theme songs

Scott and Betsy show up in the end to recreate a very special episode of Roseanne

"This isn't even a podcast, this is just us yelling things we remember, like when we hang out."

 

Such a bummer and a waste of a great premise

 

Can't they have guests come on as like Doug twenty years later? A hard nation spin could really work, there's a lot of places to go but they're just standing still.

 

I think they had an idea for a podcast and just started recording without planning much. They are already realizing they need to expand. I'd say give them 10-15 episodes and then come back to it and see how it's evolved.

 

It's weird that it was promoted and hyped so much

 

interested in sex, driving and andy daly. in for whatever it is.

 

Raised By Tv would be 100x better if they just focused on a particular show each episode. One episode for Rocko’s Modern Life, one episode for Step By Step, etc.

Also hell yes for another Andy Daly podcast. Pilot Podcast Presentation is podcast hall of fame

 

Agreed. The way their going through stuff now, the show can only last like 10 episode before they run out of theme songs to sing.

 

That first ad on HH is beautiful

They talk about how they both do literally zero prep work at the beginning too. It's... not great.

 

I agree with the general consensus around here. The theme song is top notch though, right up there with I Was There Too for getting stuck in my head.
