question semi-related to thread: am i the only one entirely incapable of reading and listening to a podcast? i can't accept words visually and audibly simultaneously and want to know i'm not defective. especially frustrating as i'm a bit of a power reader

fuck. i wind up finishing the article i was reading and then skipping back two minutes to catch what i missed listening to. it's like clockwork.

I read while listening to podcasts and tune out and forget I'm in the middle of a podcast for a few minutes

 

I got like 30 minutes in. It’s alright, it’s fun. I’m hoping to finish it up on a long drive next weekend.

 

I'm getting dumber every day because my podcast time interrupts my reading time. I can tell you the fork rating that Mitch and Wiger gave IHOP but don't know much about anything else

 

Pardo's new podcast is great. Episode 2 is with Scott and it's on Howl/Stitcher already

we need more half-hour podcasts

 

Tapped is a good shorter (~40 minutes) podcast. It's not always laugh-out-loud funny, but it's so fun to listen to.
