As with the case with Doughboys, if I get into a podcast that’s been going on for a few years, I’ll just check out the previous episodes with guests I’m familiar with and once I’m caught up I’ll listen to every new episode

 

Solo Bolo reminded me that Ben needs to be on Off Book (and i still want a scott ep) edit (i guess this is pointless because really I want everyone to be on Off Book)

 

Yeah, not saying it's not good as the reverence around here is obvious but I didn't detect the greatness from the first ep

 

Honestly the first 10-15 episodes of Doughboys are just establishing a set of rails for the rest of the show to fly off of.

(Like a retired train)

 

While I was marathon-ing Doughboys this spring I made a list of my favorite episodes/episodes that might get someone into the podcast, so here ya go! I think Rockdoughberfest is the perfect introduction to the show, the in-jokes, and the Nick and Mitch dynamic. Also any episode with Nicole Byer, Lauren Lapkus, and Fran Gillespe is perfect.
