I am honestly baffled as to why somebody at Stitcher thought it would be a good idea to have a voice announce “Resuming episode” every time you resume an episode

 

I ditched that app ASAP that is insane. I am v happy with the Apple podcast app, I don't understand why they can't all be so simple

 

I always hated the Apple app but I haven’t used it in 4 years so maybe it’s improved

 

I still use the Apple app but it used to periodically unsubscribe me to CBB

 

Pocket Casts has finally been working pretty well for me. Every now and then I'll have to delete and re-add my Patreon feeds to get new episodes to pop up, but otherwise, it's been good.

 

Overcast has been my go-to ever since Apple goofed up their podcast app in iOS 11
