Just finished reading The Late Shift, The War For Late Night, and Seinfeldia. All great and really interesting to read together considering how much they intertwine.

David Cross thinks seems over blown. He does have a character like that that he uses often.

 

Yeah and it’s shitty to make fun of people’s race to their face, and if they don’t get the bit you’re doing or are made uncomfortable by it, then both in character and as yourself, you were being a super shitty person.

 

He made it worse. Could've said he had a character like that, didn't know the real pain he caused, taken responsibility, and actually apologized. He added a bunch of bullshit non apology stuff and made himself look like an asshole again

 

I've been a Cross fan for years but there has never been a doubt in my mind that he's probably a huge asshole in real life
