Ep 3, sorry I binged the available eps over the weekend

 

Thanks. I'd just never heard the show before and wanted to check it out based on your rec.

 

I ran through them all pretty quickly. It's early enough in the show that there's no real running jokes or anything so you can jump in at any point.

 

Sweet. I haven't seen a lot of those films, but you comparing anything to Mookie has me interested... plus Gabrus.

 

Patton's special was amazing. It was awesome to see him on stage firing on all cylinders just like he always does. I can't even fathom the pain he's been through, and continues to go through, but seeing him work through some of it on stage, and still managing to wring laughter out of it, was something I'll never forget. Never expected to be brought to tears by a standup special, but here we are.

 

I watched most of Chris Gethard's Career Suicide special and damn it was good. Can't wait to finish it tonight. Looking forward to watching Patton as well. Has anyone seen Tiffany Haddish's special? I think it was on Showtime but she was hilarious in Girls Trip.

 

Career Suicide is one of the best specials of the year.

 

I wish Gary Larson would come out of retirement

 

Patton's special is great. I forgot how good his crowdwork is.

I watched Patton's new special twice last night and twice today.

I'm 99% sure "It's chaos. Be kind." is going to be my first tattoo.

 

Yeah Patton has been my favorite for a long time but this just solidifies him as one of the greats imo.

 

Possibly his best work yet imo. I always love "emotional" standup specials (Bo Burnham, Mike Birbiglia, Chris Gethard) and this one had that plus some of the best jokes he's ever written

 

Welp. The Patton Oswalt special officially broke me. Both from sadness and from laughing at the Polish Woman of Doom and Kindergarten Haunted House bits.
