I just watched my first two Bond movies that weren't Craig or Brosnan so I could get into James Bonding. If you have some suggestions on which movies to watch first, and good episodes of James Bonding let me know.

It is, though it took me a second to remember the WB is long gone

 

Gotta love TruTV for giving Chris Gethard an hour of live TV each week

 

Just 10 minutes in but having Gethard back feels like home

 

I've only seen the "what's in this dumpster" episode and Career Suicide, but I'm ready to jump on board with the Tru TV show.

Paul Scheer says he's on a live episode of Off Book and Jess and Zach are on With Special Guest this week so hopefully that means Lauren is going to be on it soon too.

Hurry up and download all the old episodes because they're going behind a paywall soon. As far as Bond movies go I'd say Goldfinger is usually considered the best. I love From Russia With Love is another one of my favorite Connery's and same with Diamonds are Forever just because of how crazy and weird it is. One Her Majesty's Secret Service is good, just sucks that Lazenby was in it. For Roger Moore I'd go with Live and Let Die and the Spy Who Loved Me. I enjoyed Moore's bond but some of his movies are rough. Both of the Dalton ones are just okay. Even though some of the movies aren't the best I still love them all. I grew up watching them with my dad and still watch them regularly. As far as the podcast it's been a while since I've listened to the episodes but the Casino Royale one is pretty good, the Diamonds are Forever one is fun with Doug Benson, and the A View to a Kill episode they did with how did this get made is good too. That was probably way more than you expected haha. Enjoy.

 

What happened between NNF and Pat Francis? I heard them talk about him not being on Pardcastathon anymore but they seemed really weird about the entire thing.

 

As far as I can tell, that's it. They told him they don't want him on Pardcastathon anymore, Pat went nuclear about it, said he would've beat the shit out of them if they weren't in public and they are no longer friends.

I'm happy about it. I was never the biggest fan of Pat and I agree that it doesn't really feel like NNF when Garon and Elliot aren't involved.

 

Anyone watch "The Guest Book"?

 

The Ten is the only Wain-directed movie I still haven't seen. Maybe I'll try to fix that after I finish the WHAS series

 

Also the @midnight finale was pretty perfect. Gonna genuinely miss that show

yeah, it was cool seeing Crab Man from My Name Is Earl and Garret Dillahunt, but it was more wacky than funny and unfortunately kind of a waste of Lapkus
