Good looking out. I just canceled Howl and was trying not to sign up for Stitcher Premium, but couldn't pass this up.

I want all of you Stitcher Premium newbies to listen to The Teachers Lounge

 

Has anyone read either of Gaffigan's books? My wife says she ordered one of them for me last night to help me spend less time on my phone and more time reading.

 

Is Stitcher its own app? I'm used to the Apple podcast app and I haven't had much complaints. Can you pick and choose which podcasts to subscribe to or download certain episodes on Stitcher?

 

Yeah Stitcher is it's own app but @Grapevine_Twine posted this link (Unofficial RSS Feeds for Stitcher) that allows you to add the RSS feed of the Stitcher shows into your apple podcast app.

All you need to do is use that website to find and copy the link of the show that you'd like to appear in Apple Podcasts. Then in the podcast app just select the "+" in the top left, select "Add Podcast", then just paste the show's link in there and tap "subscribe"

 

Is Stitcher only available via app? I'm in a weird situation for the time being where I have to download mp3s of podcasts on my computer. Is that possible with Stitcher premium?

 

They have a website where you can listen to everything too.

I'm probably just dumb, but...

I signed up for Stitcher. Managed to get the app on my phone. I'm trying to figure out how to navigate it though.

If I search for CBB for example, it just pulls up last Monday's episode with MO - That's the only thing I can see or listen to. Any ideas?

 

Spend another $3 and get Downcast and do what I did!

 

You might be missing the smallish Episodes tab.

The app is mostly functional but isn't great.

 

where would I possibly find that tab?

 

Maybe click listen first and then it should be there.

Near the top should be three tabs.

Thanks. I think it's just my outdated phone. I should be getting something new soon though.

 

I've never used another interface, but I've been using this since I got heavy into pods 6 or so years ago and have absolutely no complaints. Could just be comfort, but there's no way I could get into another app. I downloaded the Stitcher one and was frustrated immediately

I haven't watched @midnight in awhile but enjoyed it when I did. What's the reason behind cancelling it? There's no way it cost that much to produce.

 

I heard it was low ratings the last year or so. My guess for the final episode... either a match up between Ron Funches, Doug Benson, and Greg Proops... or dozens of frequent guests who alternate between rounds.
